BioCote ® silver ion technology is incorporated into products at the time of manufacture, making them cleaner, safer and more hygienic to use. Silver gives surfaces built-in, continuous protection against harmful microbes, such as E-coli and Salmonella, inhibiting their growth by up to 99.9% over a 24 hour period.
A reduction in microbial growth helps lower the risks of cross-contamination, therefore complementing food hygiene practices and HACCP compliance.
