Practical workshop reviewing the challenges, threats and suggested controls to the supply chain.
TACCP, PAS 96, food defence, biovigilence are currently topics of debate and concerns for the food industry. Since Horsegate the controls that the industry have in place are under serious scrutiny. Throughout the supply chain from retailers to suppliers, food manufacturers, supply chain auditors and enforcement authorities, systems are being reviewed and revised in order to protect the integrity of their businesses and reduce the threats to the industry.
The presentation will consider the different aspects of defence and threats and how to manage some of the challenges that the industry faces. This will include some of the challenges within the meat, fish and poultry supply chain providing examples of how these challenges can be overcome and benefit other businesses. The aim of the workshop is to be interactive, allows discussion and shared learning, which will support delegates a robust evaluation in their own business.
This is the ideal forum for businesses to gain a greater understanding of the subject, and will provide opportunities for delegates to discuss in detail their requirements, concerns and also to raise questions on the subject matter.
