SOFHT Food Information Regulation Update (FIR) Half Day Seminar

1 Day Events
11 Feb

Since the Food Information to Consumers Regulation (FIC) (1169/2011) came into force over 2 years ago there has been much debate over its practical interpretation. As the application date for the majority of its provisions rapidly approaches (13 December 2014) we have still not seen sight of the proposed Statutory Instrument that will enable enforcement of the FIC provisions in the UK. Changes to how labelling law in the UK is enforced have been proposed. Further the necessary amendments or revocation of National labelling law have still not been finalised. We have bought together 3 speakers who will be able to discuss in detail these important matters and hopefully provide the necessary information to allow this Regulation to be fully and correctly implemented.
