Position: Consultancy Services Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be involved in a range of proactive and reactive client services in the field of food and non-food activities. Clients include grocery retailers, manufacturers and food service retailers delivering a range of services including legal and enforcement work, labelling and pack copy assessments, due diligence & delivery of training courses. The post will require the Consultant to work at both technical and strategic levels.
The Person
- Either professionally qualified trading standards professional or graduate with other relevant qualifications and experience.
- Must have a high level knowledge of UK legislation particularly food law.
- You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach, be able to manage workload and operate independently.
- Experience in enforcement, the commercial sectors and 5 years experience would be an advantage.
Key Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential in this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with colleagues and clients.
- Working as a self-starting and operating within a motivated team of dedicated professionals is an essential component of this exciting position.
- The role requires that you have a valid driving licence and are computer literate.
