Customer Service Executive/Account Executive
Salary: £22,000 per annum + benefits
Location: Shardlow, Derbyshire (DE72 2GD)
This is a varied role which will call on your knowledge of the food or pharmaceutical industry as you assist the Business Development Manager to grow our business along with ensuring existing customers receive a quality level of service.
Account managing some of our key accounts, you’ll provide quotations, visit customers and ensure they have all the information they need. You will draft contact reports and ensure that they, along with quotations, are logged onto our computer system and communicated to relevant departments to be actioned.
In your new business role, you will identify and contact new business leads through a combination of research and networking. This will include helping to set up and man trade exhibitions. You will also be involved in organising company adverts, literature and maintaining our website.
Other aspects of your role will include producing and renewing customer testing agreements.
Personable and highly professional with a positive attitude, building client relationships will come naturally to you. You’ll use your knowledge of the food or pharmaceutical industry to give technical advice to customers and must be comfortable liaising with all levels of management. Quick thinking with an awareness of turnaround times, you’ll be able to prioritise your workload. You should be prepared for occasional overnight stays and as the role is dependent on you driving a company vehicle, you will need to be over 21 with a full driving licence.
