Location: South Downs near Midhurst, West Sussex
La Pizza Company Limited situated on the South Downs near Midhurst, West Sussex, require a student to assist the Technical Director in preparation for their British Retail Consortium GLOBAL STANDARD for Food Safety version 5 audit in October 2010. The company although small with 30 staff in total is proud to have obtained grade A for the past 3 years and wishes to continue this high standard.
The placement is for up to 6 months ideally commencing March/April 2010.
Normal Monday to Friday work days.
Nearby accommodation can be arranged for the duration.
The work will involve all aspects of food safety systems such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, the effects of Allergens in products, Temperature monitoring and analysis, Auditing of site standards, Microbiology, Process and Product control, along with in depth quality controls. Written reports will be required on some of these subjects during the placement period.
The placement offers a wide range of experience to a potential candidate, equipping them for a future technology position within the food industry .
There is an overall package of £2500 available for this position. (The exact period of placement is negotiable, depending upon your own experience.)
