Job Title: QA Technologist

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, focused and proactive individual to join our Quality Assurance Team.

Working 35 hours per week and reporting to the QA Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Technical and legislative support for both customers and internal enquiries.
• Completion of customer documentation and ensuring all required deadlines are achieved.
• Liaising with relevant bodies to ensure all necessary documents and certificates are obtained for Kosher/Halal requirements.
• Supplier and raw material approval.
• Carrying out internal audits as required.

Ideally with a food related degree or equivalent you will have a good eye for detail, be customer focused, have a good understanding of food ingredients and excellent communication and organisational skills.  Knowledge of ISO9001/BRC standards would also be an advantage.
